[RELEASED] U-SYNC 1.3 & Firmware 4.6

STATUS: Released! Update U-SYNC by running the U-SYNC installer, and update your Nome FW straight from the U-SYNC Daemon.
Note that from now on U-SYNC has its own dedicated PDF Manual.

New Major Features (U-SYNC): New Minor Features (Nome FW):
  • On the Nome, in the settings, you can now change the time signature denominator by pressing down the knob and turning
Fixed issues (U-SYNC): Internal Improvements (Nome FW):
  • Improved U-SYNC communication with the Control Surface scripts
  • Slight changes in the knob acceleration algorithm (i.e. how the tempo changes when the knob is quickly rotated)

Great!

Just to be sure:

For us Windows users; do need to run the U-sync tool to get bi-directional control of the tempo, or can we just activate the control surface script and it should work?

Sorry Maarten unfortunately the bi-directional control is only available with U-SYNC.

I really hope we can release a version for Windows relatively soon - and if not I will definitely improve the audio-sync plugin and method, adding the bi-directional control there as well. But all hopes for U-SYNC - we'll get there, sorry it takes this long :roll:

Ah I assumed that bidirectional control would work just fine in conjunction with the 24P sync method.

Too bad, but I will wait patiently ;)
