New Major Features:

New Minor Features:

• Default volume for 8th & 16th notes is now following "Vo.2" minus 12dB and 18dB respectively like a normal metronome would
• New settings to set both volume and click sounds of 8th & 16th notes - https://forum.simntonic.com/viewtopic.php?t=453
• New "count-in" mode where you have exactly 1 bar of count-in before your machines start playing (see related topic https://forum.simntonic.com/viewtopic.php?t=239 )
• New "Mute follows Play" mode, where the unmute happens as soon as the Play button is blinking
• (Nome II only) TAP light follows Play or Mute button - https://forum.simntonic.com/viewtopic.php?t=487
• When syncing a Nome to another, play/stop from the master is followed according to the AutoPlay setting on the slave
• Allow syncing Nomes together even while using U-SYNC (to sync multiple Nomes to U-SYNC)

Internal Improvements:

• Preparing Firmware for U-SYNC 1.3 compatibility (more on that in the U-SYNC 1.3 release)
• When enabled, Reset Mode is now active at all times except when the Nome is syncing (previously it would be deactivated as soon as U-SYNC was connected, or when the "inP" setting was set to "24P")

"multiple Nomes over U-SYNC" is not fully exact, they do not actually all sync to U-SYNC, one does and the others sync to the first one

Hey Simon, i do not understand 100%: so nomes now can be chain synced as slaves to a DAW and the nomes can be connected to the computer per usb or still have to feed usb power separately ?

Only one of them needs to be connected to the computer (since it will sync over U-SYNC), the others can be powered from anything else like a USB charger, a power bank, a USB hub, a stage piano, a digital mixer, etc.

(but until U-SYNC 1.3 is released, the Daemon might get confused when you plug multiple Nomes into the same computer - see this bug)

The idea is you have: The audio cable goes from "AUDIO" on Nome A, to "INPUT" on Nome B.

If you have more than 2 Nomes, then you will need a splitter (TS male -> 2x TS female) to send the audio sync from Nome A to Nome B+C+D+...
(like I do on this video where I used 35 of those adapters)

Note that it means Nome A can control all the others (and the DAW, when U-SYNC 1.3 is released) but none of the others can control Nome A or the DAW, they simply follow and can start or stop the MIDI or modular machines connected to them.

got it . so i wil take out the „old“ midronome plugin in my DAW from the equation.
