Hello,
I just picked up the Nome II today. I updated to the latest firmware and installed U-Sync 1.4. I have the Nome connected to my M1 MacBook Pro (Tahoe 26.3.1). I installed the daemon, and configured Ableton settings.
What works:
The Nome responds to Ableton Tempo changes
If I hit play on the Nome, my TR-1000 plays
What doesn't work:
The Nome does not send transport info to my TR-1000 from Ableton
The Daemon does not open up configuration settings when I launch it, nor does it show up in my menu bar; however, it seems to be running in the background.
What I've tried:
rebooting after installing
Reinstalling U-Sync.
Any suggestions?

Re: U-Sync Deamon Not Openning
Hi
Thanks for asking here. From what you are saying everything seems up and running, the only thing you are missing is the "auto-play" feature which will "press the play button" on the Nome for you as you start Ableton.
You can enable it by going to the setting in the Nome (cog button), select "A.PL", then set it to "bot" (both MIDI outputs).
The Daemon is running in the background (like a daemon) and will only be visible in the very top right with the other icons (SnT icon).
If you still struggle I would strongly recommend you to follow step-by-step the U-SYNC Quick Start Guide on https://simntonic.com/support
